the bolt that sits above it still fits you just can't use a socket to tighten it down.

the only way the pan will fit a y7 is if you use a z6 oil pump and main seal...
but then you wont have a dipstick !!!

i just remembered the y7 doesn't have an aluminum pan
so sorry...i dont really know...
alot of y7 parts only work on that motor
