will it be hard to install an armrest in my 1999 honda civic hatchback dx?
It's easy just make sure you get all the bottom brackets 2 hold it down, you have 2 change them out

I got mine on ebay for $40 and it mates right up to the same spots in the front. But like it was said above^ you will need the bottom brackets on the inside of the back part because they are different than the DX, & CX. Mine didnt come with the brackets and im not sure if you will need to tap new screw locations because mine is just chillin there with no bracket unscrewed except the front. It is still fairly stable and functional like that though.
By the way if anyone has that backside bracket for sale I need it hit me up!!

Hey looks like it will work good for you.
I was thinking about using those metal strips with holes that they use for stereo security tiedowns. Your way is almost the same idea. I like it!! I didnt think about screwing it to that piece by the E brake though (Good thinking)
So are you leaving the upper back screw holes empty? I think I will just rig some dummy ones for a better appearence.
Thanx for posting pics they are helpfull
