It looks very restirctive with the unequal length primaries and all.

Very interesting. I wonder how well it runs, and how well that motor deals with the boost. Pretty sweet though.

yes but it is still a turbo that is pushing more air into the engine so it probably adds more power than what it had before...he probably ghetto rigged it cuz he found it cheap at a junkyard or something

yes, TeamElusive has been very active w/ performance on his accord on HS.com. The swap sounds interesting, something I might look into if I dont get the full h22a swap.

Well its a jdm dohc f motor so that **** wont work for me. And if he can afford one of these engines and that buildup, why get a junky manifold?

Nope, its a JDM DOHC F22, not the F20 from the SiR.

Dude says JDM F22B DOHC Non-VTEC 160 Hp 147 Tq. I passed one of these up a few years ago.
I think you can get these motors pretty cheap, like 800 bucks.

JDM F22B DOHC Non-VTEC 160 Hp 147 Tq.
Problem is, non-VTEC. I don't care about the DOHC, I want VTEC. Maybe it's just me, but my name would make no sense if I got a non-VTEC motor.

Plus, look at Nippon-Motors' price for an H22A-
Honda Performance Engine H22A 2.2 L 4 Cyl $1150 Engine Only

I am a VTEC geek and a turbo geek. One day I will combine both. I am a big fan of cam tuning, which means I can get a really extreme intake cam and not have to worry about it ruining the powerband.

How does the rod/stroke ratio compare between the F22B and the H23?

They are the same, just like the F22B1.
