AL: 97 DX hatch FS/FT SOLD
UPDATED LOWER PRICE
Alright time to get rid of another Honda. This one was my wifes and she doesnt want it anymore so here it goes.
1997 Honda Civic Hatchback DX
about 80k miles
lowered on dropzone coilovers, obx rear lower control arms
EXTERIOR:
Carbon Fiber hood, type R lip, sideskirts, black housing headlights for 99 si
15" Rota Circuit 10s with nearly brand new tires
INTERIOR:
Fidanza short throw shifter, SI seats and floor mats, in dash flip out touch screen dvd player
MOTOR:
Mini-Me swap (Y8 head Y7 bottom end), short ram Intake, black generic header, buddy club exhaust.
MISC:
alarm w/ lcd pager
The good: Car runs absolutly great and is siginificantly faster than when it was stock, AC blows cold all day long even though temps here are pushing high 90s, handles very well. Sound system is great. While having the alarm installed I had them replace the rear speakers and then I replaced the fronts myself. The DVD player has been decoded so that you can watch movies while driving without flipping any crazy switches.
The bad: Dont have a Vtec ecu in the car as of right now. All wires are run for vtec, you would just need to get a p2p ecu which tend to run about 50 bux. Exterior has some flaws: outward facing dent about 8 inches long and 1-2 inches wide on the driver door. lip has a crack in the bottom (easy fix), there are some dents in the upper door pillar where someone tried to break in when the previous owner had it.
This is a great car and has tons of potential. I am asking 4000 FIRMor trade for an older jeep or similar vehicle Edit: or will trade for an older muscle car or almost any make.. I can be contacted by pm, email (johneod75@yahoo.com) or by phone (850)319-7818.
If the car does go for my asking price I will include a precision sc61 turbo that needs to be rebuilt and a wideband O2 sensor in good working condition.
