Anyone put a high quality 6x9 in there mixed with high quality other speakers? I was thinking it would be a good spot for an 8" to add some punch.

I just put an Infinity 9013i 3-way 6x9 in. If you have the proper RMS power going to the 6x9 it can really really thump. I have to turn the gain pretty low so that it doesn't over power the rest of the set-up

EDIT: Just in case you were wondering what the rest of the setup is it's four 6 1/2" Infinity 6012i 2-ways rated at 60 watts RMS a peice (in the factory locations) all being powered by an Infinty 7451i 4-channel amp. Its good ****

Looks likes your gonna need a decent amount of parts. Also I'm not sure what they'll have in stock still. For another speaker with some thump kicker comp used to make a 6x9 midranger kicker that supposedly sounded pretty good too. Only thing is it was discontinued long ago so it make take some digging around to find those.

If you have a 4thGen I don't know how you have 6x9's in the doors and rear deck.. Only 6.5" fit in those places...
