Default Taking the ITR to the beach??

Good idea?? I want to take it so bad but I'm paranoid about the damn thing. I just feel like I haven't really gotten to enjoy it and I hardly drive it. Here's an oppurtunity to take it out for the weekend, but I'm not sure if it's worth the headache of worrying about it every second of the day. Stupid caR!

I always used to. I probably will again in the fall when the craziness dies down.

I look at it this way; why buy a car you cant drive. Screw it... take it to the beach - just be ready to sprint for it haha.

Get those orange wheel boots and you should be fine with parking it anywhere....unless someone comes with a flat bed.

I live in FL and am a beach bum!!!

Actually, there should be some pics somewhere of the FL ITR meet on the beach. Walker, Neo, Ali, Brastard, Hiroki and a few others came. Some got stuck... LOL

Just rinse it down once your home. Get all the salt water and shiz off the car, make sure to spray in the fender wells.

For us though, you could drive on the beach. It wasn't like park across the street, then carry your shiz to the beach. Just pull onto the beach, pay your $5 and pick a spot.

I know where you live, and have a good guess at what beach you will be visiting. If in fact i am correct with my thinking, you will be fine and have no issues what so ever. I have driven mine to the beach 2 or 3 times now. As long as you are driving down Coastal Highway at 8K rpms all night and day you will be fine. Only drive it when necessary, and do your best to find a parking spot that won't bring it a lot of attention.

Really... even if you can't do those two things fugg it, just drive the damn thing.

Here is last years FL ITR Beach meet. Another one will happen this year, but at a different time to year. It was WAY to hot last time...

I live on the beach, I park my car at the beach 4-5 days/nights a week. Mostly the only problems I've encountered, are the beach bar drunk people thinking it's a taxi at 3:00am.

agreed. Enjoy your car! I took my R to the beach not too long ago, the weather was great and I enjoyed every minute of it. Make sure to give the R a good wash before and after you go.

oh and take some pics...that's what i forgot to do.
