Default I got my turbo back...

The bastards didn't include an invoice with all the problems like I asked them to, or put it back together before sending it back. Anyway, it's pretty much f'd. Aside from the horrid, enormous amount of burnt on gunk on the inside of it, the seals and bearings are bad. I looked around on the parts trader and there and some turbos going for like $200. I need a new turbo, but don't know what to do. I can't buy a brand new one, so I have to go used. I already have this one fabricated to fit my manifold. Should I just pay to get this one rebuilt, or does anyone have any advice on what to get? Should I order one on thepartstrader.com or go to salvage yards and find a decent one myself? I can only spend $200. Any advice is appreciated.

A Garrett T3 that I bought used. I think it came off of a laser. I talked to the guy who I sent it to, he listed a bunch of things that were wrong but never sent me an invoice. I called around to the local diesel shops and one said that it would be best to get a whole new cartridge. He said its everything but the housing, is that true? Should I just get a new cartridge? Does that come with a shaft and everything? I'm really stuck here guys.... I need to find a new turbo badly. I need an internal wastegated one too...my manifold isn't made for an external. Pls help...TIA.

Actually I found a T25 with 30k on it that's supposedly in great condition. I'm waiting on pics right now. Should I buy it for $175 for now and get a new one after the summer? A t25 should be fine on a 1.6L VTEC Del Sol engine right? Sorry for my newb questions, I need everyone's advice though. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, but then the thing is, I have to pay another $175 for labor to get it put in. So would I be best just getting another used one that's in good condition?

Also, I'm confused on what comes with the center cartridge? The guy on the phone told me I could get only that and then I wouldn't need anything else replaced... and that it replaced everything but the housing. Does that mean a new shaft, blades..bearings...? I'm lost here.
