temp gauge problem

Default temp gauge problem

hey i just bought a 95 civic coupe and the temp gauge does not work anyone have any ides what the fix maybe

Check the underdash fuse box for a blown fuse. I dont know exactly what circuit the temp sensor is on, but check all the fuses. Or look at the bottom of the fuse cover.

where is the temp sensor at and is that the same sensor that controls the fan

The temperture sensor is located right outside of the thermostat. Follow your lower radiator hose until it connects to a metal housing which holds your thermostat and the sensor should be sticking out of that.

that sensor is actually the coolant fan switch sensor...

the temp sensor is the little sensor on the head closest to the radiator...

might just be the temp gauge that is busted...try a friends cluster out...
