It squeaks like EEE, EEE, EEE, EEE. Brand new pads, brand new rotor. Could a bad bearing be offsetting the rotor? Please help thank you.

 

How much trouble did you have getting the rotor off and how hard did you beat on it with a hammer? It could possible be your wheel bearing if this is the case...

Also make sure that your calipers are not stuck... A lot of times on an older car, the caliper piston has been pressed almost all the way out (thin pads) and it get covered in dirt / rust fragments and then when you press it back into the caliper, it's seize and won't be functioning. Try jacking the rear of your car up, and have someone apply the brake and you shouldn't be able to spin the wheel. As soon as the brake is released, the wheel should spin relatively freely. If the wheel sticks after releasing the brake, I'd say rebuild your caliper or replace with a re-man. Rebuilding the caliper is cheap and easy though.

Also, if they are brand new, it could just be the combination still seating properly with each other. As the rear brakes take a lot less of the braking load, it might take longer to break in a new set of pads/rotors on the rear. Try some hard braking from 70-20MPH a few times and see if it helps get them broken it faster if it isn't your calipers.

 

A wheel bearing tends to make a low pitched droaning type humming noise all the time, that increases with speed.

You probably will find it's a hard spot in your new pads and will go once you get them bedded and settled in, I agree with last paragraph of the above post.

 

Getting the rotor off wasn't that hard, just took the 2 screws out and popped it off the hub. The squealing does go away when I apply the brakes, so I'll be sure and check out my caliper. The ABS sensor actually broke off while driving for a few hours on the highway one time, would this cause an imbalance in fluid pressure or something?

 

no. fuild is distributed by a mechanical cylinder. Its always the same pressure on L side and R side (unless obstructions exist of course)

 

Alright, that's what I thought. I'll try replacing the bearing within the next week and see what it does. Still feel free to chime in any suggestions.
