is it true that for a 96 civic dx you will need to buy a special instalation kit for a new stereo? i saw somewhere that if u dont use the special adapter then the radio will sit an inch or so back in the dash. if this is true then where can i get one of the kits? if ti matters im getting a jensen.

 

Well, to get a nice fitment, a radio kit is not a bad idea. If you stick the radio in, the weird shape of the hole will make the install look cheesy.
