Default hopeful fix for sluggish startup

my car has been having trouble starting for the past year. it almost feel like a cylinder is flooding. i've tried troubleshooting, and narrowed it down to faulty injector(s) or the main relay. i'm leaning towards the injectors. i think there may be some buildup in the injector(s) that may be cusing them to be faulty and block them from closing fully. i'm taking my 98 base lude in tomorrow to have the injectors and rail inspected and pressure cleaned. and if it comes down to it i will have them rebuilt. i was just wondering if anyone else has had their injectors cleaned this way. if so, how effective was it?
