Default Tune Up Time 73K Miles

Well NBP 2001 0193 is at the 73Kmile marker. Doing all the maintenance at once in next few weeks, clutch kit, new light weight flywheel, timing belt, water pump, tune up, valve adjust, etc. Cost just over $800 for parts. Man that hurts, but worth it! Labor is free (Hondarcb and I will do the wrenching) Only had the car 3/4 months but looking forward to getting my hands on her and getting down and dirty! Need to get this done ASAP as both my sons have challenged me to Friday night at the dragstrip! Ryan (98 CW modified) and Jordan (02 SpecV), if you read this, I'm not paying for broken axles this time!

LOL, you created a new thread to make the masses happy.

Man, I was just thinking I didn't meet you or your son at Expo.

Which flywheel did you buy?

Got this, seemed like a good deal at $141 delivered from UltraRev.

I just got done with my maintence as well, at 100,000 miles:

-Timing belt/water pump/accessory belts/cam seats/etc = $350 installed.
-ACT HD pressure plate/ACT unsprung 6-puck/Street-Lite flywheel - $275
-Clutch install - $150
-Distributor cap/button/spark plugs/spark plug wires/fuel filter - $100
-Diagnostic run - $50

Only thing that's left is to replace the TPS, or throttle body. That's the only problem the diagnostics uncovered. Now that you mention a valve adjustment, I think I should look into having that done as well, I doubt the previous owner had one done, and I sure as hell haven't done it... Unless I'm sleep walking again... Uh oh...

Maintence is rather expensive, but it is necessary.

Work at 6:00am... No sleep still.

Anyway, I need to do the same maintence to the Prelude soon... I hate spending money on that car. It's hogged so much of my money already in the past.

Just for the record: If you ever buy an Accord/Prelude with "Minor suspension damage", it's NEVER minor, and it'll cost you an arm and a leg to fix. It's never just one majorly bent part, every single part is slightly bent, just enough so it has to be replaced.

I'm in bed, I had my eyes closed for 3 hours before this, with no sleep. So I decided to wander around on the internet until I feel my mind stop running in a million different directions.

Damn! You did well to get all that done for what you paid. I'm almost at your cost and haven't even installed yet!

Shoot, that's pretty good. I wished I still owned an ITR, maintenance parts prices would be dirt cheap.

Haha, it worked just fine... I was just hoping someone wouldn't be an ***, and take my brake caliper off just for fun, haha.

So what are you driving, a TSX, BMW, Audi? Hell my girlfriend just had a new battery put in her Mini Cooper for $220, $110 for the battery and $110 to install the damn thing. I just about came unglued!
