if you've ever installed one, then you know that one side of the clutch plate sticks out further than the other. what way do i install it?

 

i guess im really asking if the clutch disk should be up against the flywheel or not once its on the alignment tool? im assuming so, but theres no indication on the lcutch plate or anything, and none of the write ups ive looked at say anything about it. i should have paid more attention when i took it apart i guess.

yeah i should have at least tried putting it together before i asked. but i needed a verification.
