if the holes don't line up when you bolt it on a head...you got screwed big time.

that header was on ebay for 250-300 hundred. performance wise it is good, but you did pay way too much. i think alot of people say that you got fitment issues with the holes not lining up.

if that's a real hytech production header then it's worth that much brand new. but if it's one of the many knockoff's floating around, you got screwed.

i don't think that is the ebay $250 header, because this one utilizes springs to hold the header together, whereas the ebay one used bolts..

The chinese made it....that's for sure.

Just use it, it shouldn't hurt until it breaks.

You know how I feel about companies who do this. Buy it from the company that did the R&D, Hytech. That way you'll get the customer service and the warranty. I think you'll be surprised/pissed in the future when these fly by night companies that sell these on ebay won't hold up the warranty.

I compared them to the ebay headers but the quality is different, anyways is sad to know that is a copy of another, I think I'll ask for my money back. Thanks for the inputs.

What you got was one of the first versions (polished). The batches that came after were made using non polished tubing, a different header flange, bolts vs springs and they even added tubes between the primaries to make it look different so not to impose on the design patent.

Does it really matter who made it?? it seems like you bought it to make power not for the brand name.. so who cares who made it. it will definitely make more power than a dc. just use it and if it makes power (which i'm sure it will) then use it (althought everyone is right about the ebay price) but hey still not too bad for that header design considering other are upwards of 1000 - 1200 bucks... . who cares who made it........ why get rid of it to pay double that for a "Brand name" header.... especially since you already bought and paid for it.....

thats looks like a hytech copy sold by JGE on ebay thats cost 400+30-40shipping = $440. its the same thing as rage and rage will go for something more than that so...

Your friend maybe got it expesier when he bought it... $700 price for that header 3-4 motnhs ago...

that header works awesome over a DC or anything else... You will be happy! Youll see...
