I had hasport mounts and a/c. VERY tight fit, but it did fit. Use the Civic compressor with the adaptor bracket that are available from a few places.

No you don't have to buy Hasport A/C system. There is no such thing.

Use your stock Civic A/C compressor with an adapter bracket to mount it to the H series engine. HPC (or is it HCP?) makes one. Or at least they used to. That's the brand mine was. This was before Hasport had a mount out. I believe now they offer a mount for this functin.

I believe the bracket was ~$100. This was several years ago though.

The belt was neither Civic or Prelude. It was just one that I bought after determining how long of a belt I needed. I don't remember the exact length but it's going to depend on what mount kit/bracket etc you end up using.

i have an H22 civic with the HCP mount kit and the problem i am having is: The civic compressor uses a 4 grove belt, while the h22 crank and alt pulley use a 6 grove belt. The belt likes to slide over at high rpm and just shred. So for right now, the compressor is bypassed.

Why would HCP do this?
