PAINT, GUNK, WATER, 15-20 MINUTES= CLEAN/CLEANER ENGINE BAY
So i was tired of looking at my dirty *** engine bay and wanted to do something about it, in a non-ricer fasion. i would have done some bolt-ons but im broke dew to the fact that i still need the fenders and headlights for the 99-00 conversion for my car. (want to finish that be4 anything else 
)
so first i got a wet rag and started wiping everything down, well it looked good wet but wen it dried it was still a bit dirty. i painted the valve cover black(cant go wrong or ricer with black). then i bought this stuff called gunk, i covered the alternator and the distributor, then sprayed the gunk all over everything, let it sit for 15 minutes. then was it down with a hoes. the dirt fell right off.
although after i was done i read the directions and it said, make sure the engine is full cooled before applying. i actually had started the car while it was on (figured it would help brake up dirt). but no biggy, just left white spots on the valve cover and heat shield, easily came off with a rag. heres the pics.

wut??? alright.
and i have the bumper, hood, grill. just need the fenders and the headlights, not gonna worry about buffing the old headlights. the conversion should be painted and on the car in about a month or so

reminds me of that episode of married with children when they take the Dodge to the car wash and cant find it because it came out a different color then when it went in

Damn. Did you paint anything or was it just dirty as hell?
