i got this from their website.
"Our street exhaust systems have been designed and tested to give you the maximum amount of performance and meet the SAE sound test of no more than 95dBA."

soo im guessing i should be fine then.

When you purchase the exhaust new, if it is carb legal, it will come with a sticker you have to display or you get sent to the ref.

In cali your car can only be moddified with parts that are CARB approved.

Man, that really sucks in cali... Heard they're hella strict down there... Hopefully Oregon doesn't turn that way anytime soon.

VA is strict as well. I was told "give me a reason why I shouldn't tow your car right now." I was polite and he let me go with a warning. (granted I was in the Talon and it has no exhaust at all )

Don't you Cali guys have Harley biker dudes with their insanely loud pipes? We have 'em here in PA and they are WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY louder than any Honda. I can here those bastards from a mile away. Why don't those guys get any heat from the Police?

It's funny. I just asked a cop about that when I got pulled over for modified exhaust. He said that "Harleys are manufactured to sound that way. Did your Honda sound like that from the factory?"

Whatever. He was cool though and just gave me a warning.

I got pulled over for my exhaust before, the cops dont care if its loud or not. if you have a shiny exhaust, your going to get a ticket. He gave me SUCH a hard time for my Intake manifold and Header because the carb legal stickers I got where not on the header and intake manifold, but on the Frame of my car. Cop was about to give me a ticket for them but I kept on telling him these are what my ******* parts came with.

I got one of these tickets a few months ago. I fought it and won. All you have to do is show up for the first court date and request a trial by written declaration. Then go to an exhaust shop and have them measure the loudness of your exhaust. Then submit your written declaration to the court stating the law and include the printout from the exhaust shop that states the level in DB of your exhaust. You will win for sure and you will get your bail amount back in the mail in the form of a check. The cop will probably be too lazy to deal with his side of the paperwork anyway.

Dude that's terrible. I'm probably going to get a ticket too because I have no resonadors or cats; I'm running straight pipes.

I hope you drive a turbo car otherwise your car is most likely annoying as **** and you deserve a ticket for being stupid.

You know, I really think that is a root part of this problem around the country. People grew up with loud cammed-out V8's and Harleys, and that sound is appealing to them and that is what they think they are supposed to sound like. Never mind that neither a camaro/mustang with flomasters nor a Hog with loud pipes sounds that way from the factory.

Loud exhausts on bikes are also a safety issue. The louder the bike, the more people will notice it when they're driving...

luckily Florida isn't that bad about exhausts, it kinda depends on weather you get a dick cop or not.

I got pulled over here in CT got sent to Inspections. the inspector just looked at my exhaust clipped the warning ticket an sent me on my way. Here in CT inspections are getting sick of being sent so many people will loud exhaust that now they just let people pass. and they've said all they get are imports that get sent to them!!

I wish cops would pull over some of these annoying loud as hell fart canister ricers around here. Cops don't really care about that around here. I wish they would because it's annoying as hell every time I hear one doing a ricer fly-by.
