GSR + ITR oil pans the same?

GSR + ITR oil pans the same?
I have an SIR-G (GSR) and my brother has an ITR. We were wondering how much oil both take. Because we both put in 4 quarts, but my dipstick reads higher than his. Can anybody shed some light on how many quarts of oil the GSR and the ITR take?

Where they both checked in the same conditions? Same level ground, same motor temp, and they were last ran at the same time...

Not necessarily. For USDM G3 GSRs, only the 94-95 models have the oil cooler.

In that case, no... mine doesn't, it's a 96. Why would they discontinue the oil cooler in the GSR though. Maybe they wanted to offer it in the better version, i.e. the ITR. And when the ITR came along, they decided to discontinue it for the GSR. oh well.
