type s prelude 217hp wtf?

there is a debate in our local car club that 5th gens in japan and europe had 217bhp. The pistons were type s, and they came with port and polished.

i know the above is true i just thought that it was still 200bhp. Anybody?

No, Honda just tweaked the pistons/cams/im/em/intake/exhaust/etc for decorative purposes. Why would any of them change the power output from that of a regular JDM H22?

I thought I was the only one who knew this...all this type R/ type S stuff is a sham. how can a combination of carefully engineered intake and exhaust upgrades,higher compression pistons and more aggressive cams make any difference?
I heard that the ATR (212ps) and Type-S prelude's (223ps) numbers were selected in a lottery.

the jdm type-s in fact does have around 220hp
