Default not getting spark after turbo install.

i just finished installing a drag gen 3 turbo kit into my 95 LS. for some strange reason now, the car is not getting any spark. before i even started installing the turbo, the car started up fine. i have checked all fuses, relays, and fuel. those are all good. the engine just keeps cranking but will not turn over. i was thinking that it might be an ignitor coil. any suggestions?

check and see if your spark plugs are fouled because of to much gas...had similar thing happen to me a while back..

Have you started it all since the new turbo?

Upgrade the spark plugs, it will be cheap, could help the problem, and will probably be needed down the road anyways.

sounds like it could be the distributor, get out the multi meter and check where the power stops, check the wires going into the distributor and move on from there to locate your problem

ok, i changed the ignition coil and it started right up. when i first started it, it idled fine. a minute or 2 later, the idle fluctuates from 700-1100 rpm. another problem is that there is smoke coming from the turbo. is this normal or what could it mean?

thanks....now i have a leak in my oil feed line. it starts leaking right before the screw is. its not leaking from the turbo side but its from the end of the line where back of the block is. now i have to wait for it to cool down. remove that line again, right after i reinstalled the oil pressure sensor with teflon tape. i will let you guys know what the results are when i take it for a test run.

Hopefully it is no big deal... it shouldn't be. Just make sure everything is tight

im trying to figure out whether or not the oil feed line has a leak in it. is there a way to test for a leak? im trying to test it by blowing through the line, but i cant find a sure way to do it. im hoping that its not a big deal. i have already spent quite a bit of money on little extras and made a good amount of trips to the auto store.

more than likely it is a loose fitting, or something along those lines. (No pun intended) Look at it while it is running, or just after you turn it off when the oil is hot and will leak more easily. You should be able to get a good idea of where it is coming from.

if you dont have the fitting with the concaved edges to fit the inside of the fitting right, then it will leak. I'm not sure if you understand what I mean by that, but i cant think of another way to explain it. But the fitting has to fit into the line perfectly. Also, teflon needs to be used pretty generously.
