Minor modifications: 2004 Accord V6 EX Coupe
Hi,
I would like to upgrade the wheel/tire package on my 2004 Accord V6 EX Coupe. I've looked at a plethora of options and have decided that I would like wheels 19-20" in diameter. My problem is that I haven't been able to get a firm answer on the maximum offset. The guy at Discount Tire seemed to think that 7.5-8.0 would be the max, but he sounded really unsure about himself. The 20" wheels I've looked at usually do not come with this small of an offset, although there are a few. This would limit my choices immensely. Is there anybody out there that can give me a definite answer? Note: I do not want to make modifications to make larger wheels fit.
Another modification I am considering is the HID kit from this company:

Has anybody had experience with these guys, positive or negative? I actually found that kit on this message board.
Answers to either/both of these issues would be much appreciated.

putting anything larger than 17's while maintaining overall stock diameter = ride where you can fell every single crack in the road becuase you have ZERO sidewall to absorb the harshness
installing HID into a car that was not designed for it without buying housings that are for HIDs = crappy light and poor cutoff not to mention the blinding of on coming drivers
