Looks good, minus the roll bar padding you don't have, and need... before some kind of stupid accident happens and your head pings off one of those bars ending up looking like what would happen if you were to drop a watermelon off a 10 story building.

yeah thanks for the concern...
it had the roll bar padding and the padding was just as hard as rock. so it had to come off
but how is it possible to hit my head off the bar.. it's only a 4 point.. it's physically impossible to smack my head off the bar that's behind the seat.

yeahh really though how is this even possible?

that's only if you have 6 + point cages with bar going right near your face but there's no bar to be found anywhere near my face

i dont know why everyone thinks that

I just ordered the same gauges, same color scheme too. Found a great deal on all three gauges I needed, EGT/Oil Temp/Boost.

... Uh oh... I've said too much.

Who made that roll bar? Any reason the diagonal bar is split, and looks like it doesnt line up too well, because that'd be a huge reason for me to never run that bar (in fact I had one made and it turned out like that and promptly asked for my refund).

I have the same prosport gauges, and they ROCK! stepmotor, peak hold, warning, black out faces, etc. all electrical, and they dont need a controller! good price too, oh yeah and they daisy chain!

where did you tap the oil and water temp sensors at?

the padding is supposed to be solid, or else it will just compress and your head will head the bar anyway. i think the seat is likely to flex some as well under a violent impact which could place your head closer to the bars. however from the looks of it it appears the bar is pretty far from your head. i dont know anything about cages/bars so take it for what its worth.

there are adaptors for it. you dont need to drill/tap anything

you will need oil block adaptor for : oil pressure/temp. and water temp adaptor ..

adaptors? where do they tap into the system though? got a link?

I need a water temp gauge and I was just gonna tap into my Tstat housing. I already have oil temp and pressure.

Obviously, you don't keep up with stuff that has happened during road races. If the impact is bad enough, your seat back will break. Thats why most organizations either require a seat back brace, or FIA approved seat. So, the next time you sit in it, recline the seat as far back as it will go. Roll you head around, and see what bars you impact.
