anyone ever seen or heard of 96-2000 ek rear seats with headrest??? i have seen it on 2 different eks but im unsure if they are from another line in the honda family or if it was a additional option, i do know that the ef civic hatch has them they are just like that but i dont think that they took them from a ef and put them in the ek. any help would be appriciated

 

They're from a european/japanese EK4.

yeah i came accross a page that states that there in all those different models it was basically a standard option in the eks in the european civic, the one set i found on uk ebay the person is only selling them out there so i gotta find another source to perchase a set or wait till another set on ebay pops up ill find them though at east i know where they come from

 

Do we have things in our EJ's that those guys over there don't have? You think any of them are interested and ask the same questions about our cars?

 

i dont think so, they got lips, clusters, nice seats, motors, rear bumper raybrig fog lights and everything else is avalible to everyone very easily. i dont think they ask at all you never know though

Are you kidding? We get THE SAME LIPS. We get different clusters because we read thinks differently here (their base models get basically the same clusters anyway though). Their seats are pretty damn similar too. The engines are almost all variants of USDM motors, and in fact we get one motor that NO other country gets anything close to (the CNG GX motor). Oh, and you can still buy '96-'98 foglights at your local US Honda dealership. Theirs and ours are clear and round.

If you want to talk about cool stuff, start thinking of the Honda cooler, the bike rack and bike lift, the pollen filter (aka cabin air filter), or the tow hitch. How about that their hatch had an optional lip kit?

We have basically the same trims, just some tiny differences and sometimes, for example, say we get an EX coupe and sedan, well they might get something upgraded in a hatch design instead. They do still have the EJ8 though and the Si coupe in some coutries too (UK has EM1 coupes).

 

damn i didnt realize all the different things between the 2, good looking out on the info about that i dont think my mind was opened up to all those extras i think i was just based on basic things but that was alot of different things, appreciate that!!!!!

 

Im really diggin the fabric design and the style of those seats. I like the headrest portion for the rear
