Typically on most vehicles, it's AEM CAI V1 > V2 > password Jdm "whale *****".

The pw intake is all hype. The aem's have been proven on the dyno. Ive tested a standard ebay 3 inch short ram for a 92-95 civic against the pw jdm back to back....the 3 inch shorty made more power pretty much everywhere.

the pwjdm intake also makes power. its also dyno proven. just because you havent got the dyno sheet doesnt mean its not out there. I used to work at a shop we sold both intakes. both make power. the good thing about the pwjdm intake is you dont have to worry about sucking up water or anything, its cheaper, and its carbon fiber so it looks kinda cool.

Yeah, it makes power.....over a stock airbox. How many high end all motor setups do you see rocking a pwjdm style intake? A setup as simple as a short ram 3 inch intake tube with a bpi velocity stack at the end of it will do wonders.

Umm actually I see alot of high power cars using the pwjdm intake. I made 220 whp which is alright, my friend made 272 whp both of those b series and all motor. I also know of a bunch of other mild builds making a little over 200 whith that intake. The biggest thing about the v2 is it can suck up water, it expensive, and the filter gets clogged quickly and reduces airflow.

The whale ***** aka pwjdm to me is mainly for looks. I tried one on my set up and lost power all over. I never tried the AEM but right now I'm use a 3in. shorty with a velocity stack and it made a much better power curve but not all that much power. This is on a Full race H-motor.

You're not getting mixed inputs...one guy only feels that the jdm intake will make power where as the rest all agree that the AEM intake V1 (not V2) would be the better choice out of the ones you listed in your original post.

Do you want power or do you want looks?

Correction, you see alot of high power cars with cool looking engine bays.

I made 220 whp which is alright, my friend made 272 whp both of those b series and all motor.
Those numbers sound kinda dynapackish, in any event....those numbers are really good. But the numbers you guys could make with a tuned intake would be even better. The possibilities astounds me.

I also know of a bunch of other mild builds making a little over 200 whith that intake.
Im not saying i doubt you on that, im just saying that im on a dyno for a decent amount of hours per week. I focus alot on all motor setups, and ive conducted the test over and over again on different engines. Everything from stock b16 motors to some rowdy high compression 2.2 liters and everything in between. Every single time the pwjdm intake gets its nuts kicked in when compared to a basic 3 inch short ram.

The biggest thing about the v2 is it can suck up water, it expensive, and the filter gets clogged quickly and reduces airflow.
True that.
