i bought lug nuts that are exactly like the ones in the picture (not the wheel locks on the right). They have a lil star shape on the top for the key.

What brand are they does anyone know?
I got them for a really good price, and just want to find some background info on them b4 i put them on...see if they hav a history of stripping.

 

I have a set myself. They're Gorilla Hex Nuts, and I find them to be quite nice. No problems yet, for me.

ALso, they are open ended, so do you put on some anti-sieze?

 

locks look like mcgard locks, used to have those at one time.

 

I've always been scared of that type of lug nuts. If they are strip it looks like you would be in lots of trouble

 

beware of stripping the key and the lug itself. Please beware. I had that type of lug before also. the lug also has a strong tendency to get rusty inside the key hole
