Crap spark wires causing a misfire?
Can crappy spark wires cause a misfire? I bought $20 napa brand wires and my car doesn't run so smooth... Got new plugs too, but dont know whats going on, I cant fix the friggen' car
There's a chance that your Wires are Arcing. I don't know how good the insulation is for the $20 NAPA Wires, but that might be a contributor. You can check for this in a dark garage. Turn off the lights, Turn on the engine, and watch your wires closely (stay away from moving parts!). If it's bad enough, it might cause a "misfire"... Keep your garage door open, suicidal maniac!
Just throwin it out there. GL, and let us know!

I'm quite sure the insulation is poor - ever since the install I've had radio interfearance at high rps, I dont know what else could be the culprit.

Absolutely they can.
~$4/pc NGKV-Power plugs with Bosch ~$50 wires - Autozone rotor and cap and you'll be set.
Any misfires after that and I GUARANTEE it's something else.
