Um, the car flipped over and caught on fire. You cant open lambo doors upside down, so the people were burned alive.

There's a big court debate with the DOT to get lamborghini type doors made illegal.

i got the whole flipped car but yeah i doubt that DOT will make those illegal, thats the whole "ponit" of that car

how long has that design been around and nothing has been deemed unsafe about it. Hell delorans in the 80's had doors like that. I didnt say they buy it just for the doors but if you say Lamborghini whats the first thing that comes to mind? The doors. Its like the signature piece of the car

spend the money on a shaved door handle kit...then take all the money you saved instead of lambo doors and get you handles shaved real nice like...thats where my lambo door money went...i even bought a b16 after that

 

damn that burnt lambo was messed up and the corpses kinda looks like the insides of my gsr seat / back seat .. honda owners you know what i am talking about ... i thought it was just burnt *** seats but then i read some posts and examined the pictures... they are corpses alright.. very sad

Lambo doors posing a safety problem?

****, what do you think they have the JAWS OF LIFE for? Pulling engines out of crumpled crumple zones after a head-on collision? They use it for normal cars in which the occupant can no longer get out. There are thousands of even simple accidents where the body damage made a NORMAL door impossible to open. I know personally of 2 accidents where front-end damage prevented the door from being opened.

Anyways, back OT, lambo doors are fine...for a lambo. Otherwise they just aren't worth it, unless you like the ricer look. I hate being negative, but its a baaad idea.

 

They had to use jaws of life to get me out once took them like 10 minutes to get there if my car was on fire I would have been dead

You have 15 minutes until the fire dept. Gets there.

 

When your time is up, nothing anyone can do to stop it.

 

Well, if my car was on fire I'd like be able to get out.
