Default Which B16A cluster do you pefer?

I have both styles sitting here, and am looking for opinions as to which more people like, let me know....

90-91 JDM -needs an electronic VSS

90-91 EDM -uses existing cable driven speedo cable

Here's a shot of them both together

Dude, no brainer. the EDM plugs right in to your VSS and reads higher speeds than the JDM. I am suprised you can't make your mind up on this one

I like the look of the JDM one better! The EDM looks just like the US ones but with 8k tach and km/h. It also looks like the EDM one that you have in the picture is from an 88-89 seeing as how it looks comparably smaller!

i <3 the jdm cluster..haha..mainly by personal prefrence i just needed a tach that went higher than 8k and i like the fact that it had the door ajar mechanism

and its running of a cable vss w/ a modded spedometer mechanism

I still don't know, they are both neat and different

I'd go with the EDM. I've got a GSR cluster in mine, however, and the fit is very good. Plus, no math...

ha ha, i live in Canada, so no math for me. I gues for those in the USA, getting a EDM VT cluster with MPH would be the way to go.

I'm all about leaving the stock one in and telling people I still have a D-series. But if I were going to do it I would definatly get the JDM one. Far better looking IMO

Oh okay! I would still go with the JDM one. Can you switch the speedo from the EDM over to the JDM? If so that would be the way to go!

does the gauge cluster it's self differ in size. from the 88-89 and the 90-91years? Also does it differ from model of car. Be it crx, hatchback or sedan?

88-89 are differnet to 90-91 they later is larger. Im pretty sure crv/hatch/sedan/wagon are all interchangeable but you have to stick with facelift if yours is facelifted or prefacelifted if yours is older.

Vtec B16 model years didn't exist in 88-89, there are no such clusters
