How do you guys change your hood colors?

Air compressor (2+ gallons), air line, line filter, clean room, Anest Iwata LPH 300 spray gun, primer gun, PPG primer, PPG dual stage clear, PPG base coat, primer with catalyst, lots of sand paper and some talent. Good luck. My recommendation is to get it painted professionally, unless you want to spend a few grand on tools.

ummm, if you gotta ask that question, you probly cant paint. let a professional handle it. you dont want some weak paint job bro......

i think you mean carbon fiber hoods.
Its a totally different hood that "looks black"

yeah sorry i'm really new to this. lol.

i'm 17 and i'll be getting a civic soon so i have no experience with modding cars whatsoever.

so if i'm to get a civic si coupe/sedan, where would i go to get carbon fiber hoods? ebay?

and i'd most likely be getting a white coupe.

you don't really need a carbon fiber hood. why don't you spend that money on an exhaust, an intake, or on some suspension work?

You might as well if your going to spend the money, check out Seibon for some nice hoods.

Go to walmart get some krylon spray paint and do it yourself, it will look just like a pro.
