I was having my car worked on at this shop in town.

I got it back today, and noticed what appeared to be oil or something on my front bumper. Right under the left headlight. I wiped it off and then noticed it was bubbling up all around that area. I barely pressed on it with my finger and the paint came right off!!!

Needless to say, I'm fuggin pissed. Is there anything I can do?

 

Sounds like the paint is lifting. How long ago was it painted?

 

If there's a warranty on the paint job, take the car back to them. Let them know that the surface wasn't properly degreased, so therefore...the paint didn't bond to the panel or bumper. Have them re-do the work as necessary.

It sounds like brake fluid that stuff is bad for paint, was the shop doing your brakes.
