Default 98 Accord with 100K miles...should I change fuel filter

About to start doing my timing belt. In the process, I am purchasing $400 parts from hondaautomotiveparts. Should I change the fuel filter as well. I was told the fuel filter never needs changing. The word never scares me...what u think? I am trying to buy all the parts now so only one handling and shipping fee.

thanks for advise.

99 and up don't need changed. If you can change it, I would recommend it.

98+ accords do not have a user serviceable filter for the fuel system. all they have is a nylon sock over the intake of the fuel pump that acts like a strainer.
