I Bought the Kens Kustom rear axle for my hot rod coupe.bolted into place and the the struts that i bought strange enginering will not line up they sit at an angle.I have been thinking of different ways to fix it.But i wanted to get some different ideas so can someone gimme some ideas please
i ran into the same problem this past weekend, realized on friday that the axle was not in the car straight so we squared it up but then came into the same problem so i had to adjust it another inch to fix it and it seemed to be fine now
The uppers that come with the strange suspension actually raise the car some. You can bolt the stock uppers on no problem as well. Im guessing there is a urethane bushing in there?

yes there is a urethane bushing in there. with that being said, you should be able to get some movement out of the bushing.
i thought about using a sperical bearing for the upper mount, but i dont think that is the right application for it. although some suspension manufactures have a "pillow ball" upper pearch piece .... ??
also i notice on your heims you have a bit of adjustemnt to play with on there, that will allow the axle to pivot around the axis point, which should change the shock angle. have you tried messing with the heims ??

Try adjusting your four link set up that they provided for you. You may not have them lined up properly. Ken makes high quality stuff that I have used personally myself in the past. Your best bet is just to call them for help...

a friend of mine has the same problem.there isn't enough ajustment in the 4 link, the shock is located wrong on the axel.it's like it was desined for a different car.maybe we aren't setting up right or somthing,i just don't see any way for it to fit right.
I think the rear shock is mounted too far away from the center axis of the axle which make the shock pivot like that... Moving the 4-link forward will shorten wheel base which might solve the problem but will affect 60ft and stability.
I've made axles like this in the pass and people been bugging me to make a few more but i haven't been able to have time... Maybe ill pull the jig out and whip one up for ***** and jiggles..
