I have a '95 Ex 4cyl VTEC and I cannot get my a/c compressor to come on. All fuses are good and the relay going to the comp. is good, I get 12v to the relay, but not the compressor, the red wire from the relay connector is good, jump the compressor; it clicks, condenser fan comes on when a/c button is pushed and car does idle up, jumped pressure switch and compressor still doesn't come on. I am stuck at this point, can someone please help?

 

When you jump the pressure switch and try to turn on the compressor, look to see if the clutch plate/disc is pulling into the spinning part of the clutch?

You are sure you are getting power to the clutch coil and it has a magnetic effect?

Often times the disc gets worn down where the 2 faces meet each other and you need to remove the clutch disc and take out one of the shims on the center shaft.

Another check;[not for the faint of heart] is to smack the clutch disc while the compressor is trying to run and see if it will stay engaged.
