um....?
i have a 1990 honda civic and i just put a max speed muffler on it (similar to the arospeed bomb muffler). Anyways i threw away the sideways muffler and i did some customizing. What i did was. you know the stock exhaust and how it goes down the center of the car then at the middle of the car it bends to the left (passanger side) and then it goes to the muffler what i did is have it run to the right and had it run straight out the back...so its on teh same side as the stock was. So this didnt restrict the exhaust fumes so much. Has anyone else done this?
I would love to do that with mine, but like the other guy said, it runs under the fuel line and I guess under the tank as well. Wouldn't want to heat the tank up, but how is it working for you? Notice any bad fuel milage or things happening?
nope nothing but there is one problem, i think that the muffler doesnt sit high enough in like on the stock side it had a cutout so it fits up tight with the boddy but whenever i hit a desent bump it like *thuds*. so im thinking about repiping it and have it follow the stock trail then come out on a angle
