Default One Cord ----> Aux. Jack for Ipod adapter

i've seen tons of my buds that have the ipod adapter with 2 plugs at the end. is there one at like radio shack or something thats is just 1 cord Aux Plug ----> IPod plug. i dont care if it charges it. I dont want to spend like 100 bucks on the dealer one. its a wire.... lol ... anyone got any pictures and where you got it?

its called a "mini to mini" plug you can get em at radio shack for like 7 bucks. it basically looks like a headphone jack on both ends. btw the honda musiclink is more than 100... but if you wanna go that route lemme know cuz i have a used one im sittin on.

best buy, radio shack, fry's electronics...

anywhere that sells ipods will sell a 3.5mm (1/8") male to male cable..

you can get a monster cable version for $20 or generic for as cheap as $5 like Nighthawk said

i got a aux jack at walmart...doesnt specifically say its for ipod..instead it says for stereo systems where u can plug from a cdplayer to speakers...its can plug ur ipod and any devices with a headphone jack..basically its like an earphone wire but u need to plug it to a speaker source..only cost 4 bucks...plus i got the new ipod nano which lasts for 24 hours...so i can charge at home and instead of paying a hundred dollars for the chargeable ones

Same here. If you want the stand for your Ipod, its like 30 bucks...but there's the compartment for it anyway right below the jack for the AUX.

I had a Treo and i bought some adapter that turned the earpiece jack into a standard mini jack. I was able to use it to listen to MP3's but if phone rang while listening it would ring over the radio and cut music off. Pretty funny hearing Family Guy, Borat and South Park quotes that loud over ur radio. Just wish they had an f'n bluetooth already

FBP, how much are you looking for for the musiclink? Is this easy to install? Thanks.

it doesn't do any of those things because he bought this:

http://store.apple.com/1-800-M...7LL/A

which is only a 3.5mm male to male stereo cable and not a musiclink

I figured you knew.. just wanted everyone else to know there wasn't some magical spot on the apple.com site that sold musiclinks for $20

$75 for yours is cheap enough to buy and try, I'm suprised it's not sold.. the $250 at the dealer just turned me off..

FBP, I'll take it. Send me an invoice through PayPal.

I'll try and get it set myself, but I'll be sure to ask if I have questions.

Thanks again!!
