I wanted to know if I could put 92-95 civic Ex brakes on my 96-00 coupe with a b-seires motor. Are the splines for the axels the same? Will they bolt right up?

 

yes, the splines are the same & it will bolt right up...

>you can use the ex brakes if you are using the ex knuckle w/ the 10.3" rotor. they're pricey & getting harder to find.

**if you have the dx knuckle, you can run an itr caliper. the itr caliper is a big 1-piston, which also share the same pad as the nsx. the itr caliper can be found in junkyards, they're stamped 17CL15VN on older accord, tl, rl, legend, cr-v, vigor, odyssey, prelude, itr, etc. once you acquire the 17CL15VN calipers,you need to go to take them apart and remove the caliper from the bracket. it should be stamped either 23T, 25T or 28T. the brackets will need to visit a machine shop, where they'll grind the bracket 2-3mm or 1/8" (where the bracket mates to the knuckle) because of the offset of the rotor. you'll also need 10.3" rotors, which you can find from 90-91 ex, 90-00 teg, 99-00 si. once you have everything bolted up, you'll need to grind or file 1-2mm on the brake pad to clear the throat of the rotor's hat. you may also want to consider a larger 1" or 15/16 master brake cylinder to push more fluid.

*if you have ex or teg knuckles, you can still do this swap. the bracket will still need to be milled, but on the ex or teg knuckles, you will need to use 11" rotors. you will need to re-drill your rotors to 4X100.

with the machined brackets,they'll work w/ itr calipers, nsx calipers & legend 2-piston calipers
