Default slave-mission

hey,

i have a 93 Lude and my clutch slave is gone because as soon as i push my clutch pedal down..it wont come back up..

and i also have a problem wit the tranny, i recently replaced the clutch and noticed the 1st, 4th adn 5th gears are perfect....but it grinds on 2nd....it perfectly goes into 3rd because the clutch is new but as i let go of the clutch...the gear slips...

and im guessing that my clutch slave was beginning to wear out.

so my question is....

"will my tranny problem disappear if i replace the clutch slave"??

id highly appreciate the responses

thx

i don't think a slave cylinder problem would make your car pop out of gear, if anything a bad slave would keep your car IN gear. the problem is your synchros are worn. thats why it pops out. looks like tranny rebuild or replace.

rebuild

replace

i don't know about labor, but i picked up an H23 tranny for 250. did it myself, i would say a shop with the right stuff can probably swap out your tranny in maybe 3-4 hours?
