hey, i need to get some work done on my car and i dont want to miss out on work while its getting done... how old do you have to be to rent a car? is it 25? anyone have any other ideas?...thanks

Yes 25 is the age for car rentals..

Have you considered of asking friends to give you a ride?

Or just taking a bus?

 

It starts at age 21 to rent a car, but goes as high as the age of 25 to be able to rent a car. Depends on your location. Unless your in the military or government you can rent under 21.. call all the rental places...

 

if you're having the work done at a dealer they may provide you with a car regardless of age but i may be wrong the dealership i work at gives loners to anyone.

 

-Ask a friend or co-worker for a ride
-Take the bus
-Call your local car rental agency and inquire about the policies
