I just bought a 2006 Ridgeline and am trying to get my XM to work. It's a RTL (w/o navigation).
When I push to XM button on the head unit, nothing happens. Same goes for the steering wheel control.

Any ideas?

I had 1 guy tell me that it is only XM "ready", and that I need a $500 antenna kit, that isn't even available anymore.

This can't be true, can it?
Please help.

I believe the RTL without nav and without sunroof did not come with the XM antenna option. I would think you could still get it though, i doubt honda would discontinue it.

 

you can still buy the kit. Ask someone at the parts department that knows what they are doing and you should get it. You will need a tuner, antenna and a din cable.
