Accord Automatic Filter
I just purchased a 91 Accord EX-R wagon with an automatic (left knee no longer works well enough to operate a clutch). There is no filter. Does anyone know of a magnetic filter which can be fitted to one of the cooler lines (like an in-line gas filter)?
Is there a means to modify the shifts similar to what can be achieved using B&M shift kits in other applications?
Thanks

i dont suggest putting a magnet on a cooler line, it could get clogged.. id put a small magnet in the trans pan or maybe a couple of them.. hope this helps
Not sure about the 91's but on the 98's the drain bolt is a strong *** magnet that works pretty well. I asked about the filter and Honda said it's way up in the tranny and is considered life of the car.
True- drain plug has the magnet- if you really want a filter- you can get one through Honda- their remanned trannies come with a filter kit- not necessary unless you have contamination in your lines or something.
