Default 94+ integra

I'm really debating what kind of Integra im wanting. I ultimatly want a GSR but where i live they are pretty hard come by and very over priced. I know theres others like RS and the LS and im ultimatley wanting the gsr due to the power and vtec advantage. I'm on a budget and want a nice reliable car and something fast. So engine swaps are out of the picture and im not going to up and fork out for a turbo right now. I'm wanting an all black car and ill going to take the wing off for sure. THOUGHTS!?!?!

OBD1 cars are much more durable than other OBD series cars.

The system just met the engines needs at that time. Now it meets the needs of the engine and the environment. which means more sensors and more things to fail on the car.

the obd1 cars are basic but have everything you could have want in total freedom.

In the state of california smog restrictions for the obd1 cars are much lower than for other years.

so 1994 and 1995 are the years you want if your looking for an extremely reliable and modifyable integra. Only get one with a clean title.

In california the smog restrictions for 1994 is much lower than 1995. it jumps up quite a bit for 1995 and then consistently every year after that.
i dont know about your states laws though.

I believe so much in that year and the reliability of integras in general ive owned 3 integras and still own 2 all of which are 1994 and have been nothing but awesome and easy to fix.

what years of integras have obd1? and how exaclty can you tell if it has got obd1. Can you squeeze out a noticable amount of horsepower tuning it? and how much do people charge to tune it.

I have 2 1995 GsRs and they are not that great of cars compared to a Type R.

I plan to eventually parting out the car and using the essentials for a project vehcle.

Well gee, you'd think with a higher price tag the Type R would be worse....

LOL.

It's just of the comments people are always saying how the 94-95 Gs-Rs were quick...I strongly disagree with that statement.
