Default No name springs?!?!

I bought a set of used tokico blues for my rex from the junkyard last week. They had a set of no name springs on them, they were a dark blue color. they seemed to be lowering springs since they were still loose and moving around. When i installed them they didnt give me a drop at all. I was going to buy a set of neuspeed race springs but i was wondering is it possible for me to compress the springs down or cut the springs or something??? a little wierd but i was j/w help thanks

You don't know anything about the springs what shape they are and the only stiffness meter you have is your butt.

Honestly, I'd just wait.
