Default EF Valve cover ??

I just replaced my valve cover on my crx. But the dealer gave me this one.
How come the lettering is different than the standard D16a6 valve covers ?
Anyone know anything about this ?

NEW ONE

i am not sure but my stock d15b2 in my rex had the same valve cover yours did at first. Then when i bought the sohc zc that is in it now it had the valve cover on it that the dealer gave you. Maybe it is jdm style or it is just a newer style because my rex is an 88 and the sohc zc motor is from a 91, but i am not sure. I like the newer one though.

its because that was the last oem d valve cover like that in a production car so thats what they have if you looked at the last car honda produced with that engine in it thats what the valve cover would look like.
looks hella good though
