out of alignment after 91 si rear disc swap.
my car will not drive straight unless the steering wheel is turned 1/4 to the right after i installed a 91 si rear trailing arm complete swap. i reused the lca and did not remove the toe bolt. i did however reuse the 91 si uca because it had fairly new bushings.
so what would cause the alignment to be off, or is that normal after a swap?

your should get an alignment anytime major suspension work is done. Heres a good article I just found from cspeedracing

Ditto.
When I installed my rear discs I had to have the car aligned. When I removed them to change bushings, I had to have the car aligned again. That's just how it goes. When you bolt them back on, your toe will most likely be out of wack. $80 is a small price to pay to fix it.

If you're planning on doing a lot of work over a short period of time which involves unbolting any or all of the suspension, try to find a shop that gives you a warranty or something along the lines of "free alignments for a year after the first." Saved me a lot of money when I was doing a lot of work on my suspension.

Most Firestone dealers offer lifetime alignments. I spent $150 for it through a local ExpertTire store in my area. It pays for itself if you plan to keep your car for a while and plan to change the suspension setup. I did it solely because I'm awaiting the install of my DA front and rear brake setup.

U must of not align the bottom right this is pretty rare to hear after a rear disk brakes swap but like every other OEM component there not the best after years of abuse and weather chewin em so expect to end up buyin some stiffness!!!
i dont kno, the swap went perfectly and i realized the steering wheel was off because the last time it got aligned was after i rebuilt the steering rack and i had full tread on my drivers side tire, and none on my pass. side tire(in front). the shop i got it aligned at said thats why. it drives very straight, maybe a little off.
otherwise, its not the disc swap, its the fact i just put new tires on the same time i did the swap. i was too lazy before
