Default suspension suggestions

i just recently got my R and the only thing the previous owner did to it that he didn't change back were the springs...i have NO idea what kinda springs they are, they don't have any writing on them that i can see and they're red...i know eibach sportlines are red and a couple others are too...but thats beside the point...the point is they suck...the drop is ok i guess...about 1.5-2 fingers...but when i get in the corners, if the ground is slanted at all the mud flaps scrape...needless to say they will be coming off, but i still don't like how soft these springs are...eventually i wanna purchase some bombass coilovers, but unfortunately all my money is going towards paying off the damn car...i just had a birthday, so i've scrounged up $500...not enough to get myself a good strut/spring combo like some koni yellows and an eibach prokit...but maybe enough for some good springs or something...i dunno, i know its not good to use aftermarket springs with stock struts, but these springs are really hindering my driving experience...any suggestions you guys have will be greatly appriciated

Buy some new springs.

Eibach Sportlines or H&R should have you back in good shape. Aim for 1.5" drop no more

i don't like sportlines...the drop is too low for my tastes...if i went eibach, it'd be a pro-kit...thats what i had on my LS and i liked those a lot
