Valve Spring Question?
Hi, I'm new to engine building and I thought that asking a question here in honda-tech (basically an open honda encyclopedia) would be my greatest advantage.
I've done searches but this one is quite a little more complex I guess (for me that is).
There are 2 companies that both offer dual valve spring and these are the specs they've provided:
Company #1: 50lbs@1.320'' <--Seat Pressure 210lbs@.820 <-- Open Pressure
Company #2: 70 lbs @ 33.5 <--Assuming Seat Pressure 190 @ 12mm lift<-- Assuming Open Pressure.
Now when it comes to these numbers they both speak of weight reduction down to grams. My question is, Which is better for holding a high rpm range? both are at slightly different in price ranges.. both reputable companies.. but I just want to make sure I'm spending it correctly. So do these numbers REALLY MATTER when it comes down to it? Or are they basically the same and it doesn't really matter.. Oh and I'll be putting in Buddy Club Spec3+ Cams..
Opinions that would be helpful would be greatly appreciated! thanks (flame suit: ON)
