Default anyone have a comparison of upper and lower control arms DA vs EF ?

I'd like to see a side by side. More specifically, length, and bolt hole comparisons.
thanks,
Jared

Not sure if you mean front or back, but for the rear LCAs, the mounting holes are the same distance apart dispite being a different shape/thickness. They do result in a negative cambered stance because the mounting hole for the shock/strut is different (not sure if using the upper control arm would compensate though).

This is going to sound a bit weird, but I have seen aftermarket uppers for the fronts sold as both DA and EF, so I'd assume the width is pretty similar, and if the length was drastically shorter on either one wouldn't it be impossible to sell a kit for both cars?

the part in question:

very good point. i'd love to see the stock pieces side by side. i have seen a comparison somewhere of all the front da vs ef stuff, but for the life of me i cant find it with a h-t or google search.

ok, it appears that the da is different because ive found posts that those using it bitch about the positive camber and negative caster. im sure the caster could be fixed somewhat by swapping arms side to side, and the camber possibly by using DA lcas? if they work?

i did some diggin, found a thread about a kid running DA ucas complaining about them hitting his fenderwells, but theres a good chance he was slammed and that was the cause.

It occured to me that although that piece is sold for both cars it could just be the adjustment in the ball joint can account for the difference in width, thus allowing them to sell it for either car.

are you really trying to stay oem with everything?

im actually hoping the da stuff is longer. this way i can use the da upper and lower and just move the knuckle out a little with no other changes, other than a new alignment of course.
