Ok, so I put the new engine in my type r (other engine blown)... Its a b20b/gsr vtec head.... Question is I am putting in the wiring harness from the type r today and was wondering if there is a better wiring diagram than in the Haynes... All I need is the engine wiring......Help would be appreciated Thanks

 

not sure on the diagram but that harness should plug strait into your setup

 

Are you using the appropriate ODB2 Distributor and Alternator?

 

im using the stuff that came off the 97 type r.......all is the same except for intake manifold, head and block ...... vtec and everything is same

 

and for some reason when I bring the harness underneath the manifold, the connections for the injectors arent long enough.... is that a common problem? or is the way im bringing them up wrong?

 

so your using the gsr intake manifold?

 

ya using the gsr intake, the type r wont fit.... got the wires figured out thanks...... but is the gsr intake really that bad? do I need to get the skunk2?
