Me too, when any of you FA5 owners hear of an exhaust let me know please. I'm actually looking for something along the noise level of the Skunk2 (loud).

The V-band exhaust from legal speed really is a nice system. We have one on our sponsored Si Sedan, anything you guys want to see / hear that might help giving one of these systems a try, just let us know. If you could I'd like to see more photos of the system mounted up to the car (especially how far it sticks out beyond the bumper and how it sits under there). More audio clips would be cool too, maybe better quality.

If there's gonna be a sale let me know.

Here are a few pictures of how the exhaust sits on the car and a few videos of how it sounds. I will post some better videos and sound clips in the near future. The group buy should start anywhere from beginning of July to Mid July. So make sure your saved up to take advantage of the deal.

Yes, we definitely will be running a group buy for sure, this will happen next week or the week after. We wanted to give everyone a little bit of advance notice to save a little in order to make the purchase.

Looks nice. So the 13.5whp gain.. is that with stock I/H? What kind of warranty do you provide?

Also it looks to me like it may have a tight fit with the Aero kit. Did you fit it up to a sedan with a Kit?

 

Looks like it fits real nice. I was worried it would have that fart can look but it doesn't. So eh, if the price is right on that group buy or just an HT discount, I am down.

will these mufflers fit without any mods to a coup?

 

I was holding out for Tanabe's exhaust for my 07 si sedan... but this is pretty tempting here. This is my ride to and from work in so cali, and while the sound is aggressive... it doesn't seem too over-the-top. I've driven a car that's gotten pulled over for the sound factor, and I'd hate to turn my ride into that again.

Still... keep us updated LSD. It looks like a really nice fit.

 

We will be running a group buy at a discounted pricevery shortly. Although the Exhaust does make some noise, with a stock header, it really isnt excessively loud.

We should have some of the coupe systems in stock within the next 5 - 7 days. Since the system we have available right now is V-band, it will not function as an axle back system.

The gains are just from dynoing with stock exhaust and then switching to the Legal Speed Designs exhaust. Warranty info can be found here:

I heard / Had a lot of different exhaust systems in my days, if you dont mind a little bit of sound, you cant go wrong with this system. The fitment, the tuned sound, the look, the ease of installation and of course the use of mandrel bent 2.5" piping for a noticeable power gain.
