Heyyy guys I am in search of a Carbon Fiber hood, and trunk lid,for my 04 civic ex, OEM style, what company's are the best of the best, i have searched google for a few hours and all i find are 01-03 civic, I have an 04 so i would need an 04-05 style. I have seen a few of you guys with the hoods and trunk lids, i was wondering where u got them. thanx

 

trunks for 01-03 are same as 04-05 the only thing that changed was the taillight design itself no dimensions are different. as for the hood, I've seen alot of nice ViS oem hoods. im like you, i have an 04 and i want a cf hood and trunk and i want to stay smooth looking w the oem cf hood also, and i've had my eye on ViS

 

yeah but for the 01-03 trunk, aren't the tailights built into the trunk lid, so i knew the trunk would fit, but wont i have holes in the hood for the 01-03 tailights or will that not be there with the carbon fiber???

 

no no no, only the 04-05 HOOD will fit the 04-05 but the trunk goes 01-05


i dont understand what you mean with the tail lights being built into the trunk, unless you mean sedan?

 

OOOOO no my car is a coupe, i was thinking of the sedan tails, sorry, okay so the trunk is universal, thanx i didn't know that, now i just gotta find a hood. yeah my 04 ex is a coupe, ralleye red, i have tint, and some 17" Konig black feathers. some carbon fiber would really set the car off.

 

hell yeah man, i wanted the red, but i have fiji blue. i mean the blue is baller as **** but i like the red with our taillights it looks so good.

a loca company out here called fiber images makes top of the line cf products. u can search em on google or somethin. and also if u buy a hood or trunk there wont be any gaps cuz the test fit each one to ensure no gap.

 

if sibeon makes one go with them they are the best in my book

 

Fiber images doesnt make one nor does Sibeon, they only make them for the 01-03 carbon hoods. They do make the trunk the lids, just need some other company's who might make hoods for the 04-05 civic.

 

What a waste of money

VIS is your best bet since seibon doesnt make cf hoods for 04-05 civics
